Application Form: FUNding peace: the power grid for your project; International Training in De Hoge Rielen, Belgium (26/06/2022-02/07/2022)
 
The Association of Service Civil International (SCI) is opening applications for an in-person 6-day training course in De Hoge Rielen, Belgium supported by the Council of Europe’s European Youth Foundation. FUNding Peace training course will connect 24 (future) project leaders in an open and supportive platform, empowering them to exchange ideas and boost their capacities to plan and implement successful international projects which are sustainable and inclusive. The training will be based on principles of non-formal education which are participatory and dynamic.

Before the training course, participants will engage with online modules that focus on the topics of Sustainability and Gender to build/ expand their common understanding of how to organise projects in a sustainable and inclusive way. This will allow us to go deeper into these topics during the training course itself. After the training course, participants will be invited to follow-up webinars to review and expand on topics raised during the training.

Financial conditions:
A participation fee of €50 will apply as a contribution to travel and administrative costs. If this prevents you from applying, please contact the project team;
Food and accommodation during the training course will be provided;
Travel costs will be reimbursed after the up to an agreed limit depending on the sending country;
Other necessary expenses, such as visa fees or COVID-tests will be reimbursed after approval by organisers.

The "FUNding Peace: the power grid for your project" is organized by the Association of Service Civil International ivzw (short: SCI), based in Antwerp, Belgium supported by the Council of Europe through the European Youth Foundation.

SCI will use your personal data provided in the application and registration forms for the following purposes:
  -  Preparation and organization of the International Training "FUNding Peace: the power grid for your project".
  -  Contact for processing the application of the project.
In order to do so, SCI will store your data a) in case of an unsuccessful application, until the end of the preparation phase of the International Training after which it will be deleted, or b)in case of a succesfull application, up to one year after the project's duration which officially ends according to the contract with the donor in December 2022, after which it will be deleted.

Processing your information is necessary for compliance with the Association's legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c), 6(3) of the GDPR in order to accept your participation to the event(s) and project.

Your contact information may also be shared with your sending SCI branch or group and the host of the training.
