Shipley College is working in partnership with Northern Rail, Network Rail and Carlisle Support Services to offer pre-employment training to support unemployed individuals into Customer Service roles within the Rail industry.
You must be 19 and over to enrol onto this course.
Course start date - Monday 15th April 2024
Course end date - Friday 3rd May 2024
The course will take place in Leeds
Information and Guidance (IAG)
We will be holding the following IAG session where you can find out all you need to know about the programme, meet your potential employer, ask any questions and enrol onto the programme.
- 19th March 10.30am - 12.30pm - Eastbrook Court Jobcentre,
50 Vicar Lane, Bradford BD1 5AH
- 9th April 10.30am - 12.30pm - Westfield House Jobcentre, 85 Manningham Ln, Bradford BD1 3BE
What you need to bring:
Please bring any English and maths certificates with you if you have them - this is not essential so don't worry if not. We can do an initial assessment with you instead on the day.
If possible, please bring some form of ID e.g. a passport, driving license, birth certificate, proof of DWP benefit, visa or work permit.
Eligibility: You must be 19 and over to enrol onto this course.
This programme is available to you if you're in receipt of benefits and actively seeking employment or in work earning less than £23,400 annually (£20,319)annually if not from an eligible regional postcode).
