Thank you for your interest in the 60th North Carolina Spot Festival Pageant. This years crowning will be held Saturday, November 4th at the North Carolina Spot Festival. In the event of Festival cancellation the crowning will be held in Early 2024 at Sound Side park in Surf City.
Below are the key points and new information about the upcoming festival pageant:
-The crowning will be held at and during the Festival.
-Contestant will receive Full round crown and flowers.
-Applicant must be a NC resident.
-It is required upon winning that you attend the Festival Both Saturday and Sunday for Princesses and the Queen.
-No talent is required but there will be an option to perform on Sunday.
-Princess Court will be ages 0-12 and will not compete. On a first come first serve basis 10 girls will be automatically crowned upon acceptance with complete registration.
-There is 10 Princess openings.
-There is no entry fee for the princess court however you must sell a minimum of one Ad.
-This is an open title for the Princess Court, you will ONLY represent your title the weekend of the festival.
-Queen contestants please do not complete this application. Your division has a separate application.
Attached is the official application, rules/regulations, pageant information and more. Make sure you read the rules/ regulations carefully. The deadline for entry is October 10th, 2023 all applications and payments must be submitted by this date. Please remember princesses will be accepted on a first come first serve basis upon completed registration and payment for ad.
Princess Entry requirements:
-Complete in full and submit this application.
-Sell one $100 Sponsorship Ad, you may sell more to be entered to win a $50 cash prize, (you must sell a minimum of 3 ads to be eligible)
-Provide 1- 8X10 Colored Head digital shot by October 10th to
ncspotfestivalpageant@gmail.com-Wear black and white polka dot cocktail dress to be crowned and on Saturday after crowning.
-Help in our Spot Queen/Princess tent selling 50/50 raffle tickets (shifts will be discussed after crowning).

NC Spot Festival Princess- Ages 0-12:
Please come up with a 2-3 line statement introducing yourself and letting us know something about the spot.
Head shot: 8x10 Natural colored head-shot, professional editing is okay but no glitz re touching. Will be used for social media.
Pageant Attire: Black and white Polka dot Dress. Dress cannot contain any other colors besides black and white. Dress must be party attire/semi formal, any length is fine. Can be paired with white or black cardigan and black or white tights for warmth if needed for younger girls. Black, white, gold, silver or nude dress shoes. Babies and toddlers can wear smocked outfits as long as they are solid black and white polka dots. Festival Attire:
Saturday: Black and White Polka dot Dress, Bring comfortable shoes to walk around festival in after pageant such as black or white Keds, converse, bobs, or like brand.
Saturday evening Attire: Casual Polka Dot attire. Please make sure pants are not skin tight or showing your undergarments. Black or white cowboy boots, rain boots, Keds, converse, bobs, or like brand shoes.
Sunday attire: Festival provided t shirt. You will be given this on Saturday. Please wear with either white, black or white and black polka dot leggings or pants. Please make sure pants are not skin tight or showing undergarments. Same type of shoes as stated above.
This is an open title meaning there are no allowed obligations after the festival weekend.

Pageant Rules and Regulations
Contestants, family members, and chaperons will conduct themselves in a proper manner. Entrant agrees with that acceptance is on a first come first serve basis, you must complete entire acceptance process to be approved, you will receive an acceptance Facebook group request once you have been accepted. Contestants or contestant parents who show disrespect to anyone at the pageant will be automatically disqualified. Contestants or reigning royalty who shows disrespect to their chaperone, family, friends, staff, or any one at or during or after a Pageant function or via social media or publicly, will be disqualified. You must have a face book page to stay join our contestant and parent group to be notified of all events etc.
Only contestant and 2 family members will receive free entry into the festival each day.
Please arrive fully ready with polka dot dress on, hair and makeup ready. You will only be allowed to change once on Saturday evening into your casual outfit in the command trailer. There will be no dressing rooms set up for the pageant, again PLEASE ARRIVE FULLY READY FOR THE PAGEANT. If you are late, we will not hold up the crowning. You/your child will be crowned at a time that is convenient to the Festival.
Please let us know on the application if you would like to perform your talent on Sunday. You may choose any age appropriate attire for your performance.
You will not be allowed to represent any other title at the Spot Festival.
The contestant understands and agrees that the NC Spot Festival, Pageant Committee or Festival, Festival grounds are not responsible for personal injuries or loss of personal property during the crowning ceremony and /or Festival weekend.
*Failure to comply with the rules and regulations will result in disqualification from this pageant or loss of crown.
*The North Carolina Spot Festival has the right to refuse any contestant who is not complying to this application or that has not submitted the proper requirements by the deadline or from any other reason the Pageant committee sees fit from completing in the NC Spot Festival Scholarship Pageant.
*All Fees paid will NOT be reimbursed.

NC Spot Festival Scholarship Pageant Information
Ad sales-
As part of your registration you must sell a minimum of one Ad sale.
-All ad's cost $100
-Ad's are 11X17 Banners on the Festival Stage Fencing. These will be placed along side of all other Festival and pageant sponsor banners. These will be seen by the festival attendees (5,000-10,000 guest)
-Business must provide logo and information they would like featured on the banner or website link if they have no preference of what is featured on ad to you and then you are responsible for emailing that to
ncspotfestivalpageant@gmail.com by October 10th. Failure to meet this deadline will prevent the sign from appearing at the festival.
-Website banner on the
www.ncspotfestival.com-You may sell as many ads as you would like, the princess with the most ads sold will receive an $50 cash prize! Must sell a minimum of 3 ads to be eligible for the prize package. In the case of a tie, each tied girl will receive the $50 cash prize.
-Ads do not have to be purchased by a business. Groups and individuals may also purchase ad space. These can be fan signs from family as well.
-All ad information and money must be turned in by October 10th. However your first ad money must be turned in to complete your entry so I recommend turning that in as soon as possible as princess spots are first come first serve and you will not be accepted until your first $100 is turned in. All ad designs can be turned in up until the October 10th deadline.
-Ad sale business sponsor letter to provide when collecting can be found on our facebook page @ncspotfestivalpageant please download and save pdf to take with you when collecting.
-Ad money can be cash or Paypal

Dates and Times:
November 4th
Pageant 12 pm
Please arrive on the festival grounds no later than 11:30, Please ensure you arrive early enough to get through parking and admission gate lines. Traffic can also be heavier during the festival weekend sometimes causes delays.
You will be allowed to leave the festival grounds at 6pm on Saturday if you wish however you can stay for the night band that comes on at 7:30 pm, the festival ends at 10:30 pm.
Dinner will be provided to the Queen, Princess and Princess Court
There will be a Princess/Queen Tent set up in the vendor section where we will have raffle tickets. Queen, Princess and Princess Court will take turns under tent selling tickets, walking around enjoying the festival, participating in festival events etc. 1 parent must stay for children under 16 years of age.
November 5th-
