Teen Rain Garden Program -- Tuesday, May 16, 6-7:30 p.m.
Teens ages 13-18 are invited to explore the library’s new rain garden and learn how it captures rainwater to prevent stormwater runoff, reduce pollution, and provide wildlife habitat.

Join the American Littoral Society in conducting a biological survey to determine what species are using the rain garden as a habitat then participate in a planting to spruce up the garden for Spring!

Pizza and all planting equipment will be provided. Please remember to wear clothes and closed toed shoes that can get dirty.  Teens attending will earn 2 hours of volunteer time.
