Thank you for showing interest in vending at the Salt Spring Island Tuesday Market, hosted by the SSI Community Market Society.
Our first market of the season is
May 30 and our last market of the season is
October 31, for a total of 23 markets. The new market hours this year are from
1:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
There is an annual $20 Membership Fee and a $30 Registration Fee to be paid by all vendors. Additionally, vendors will be charged $3 per foot of frontage space they occupy, per market they attend.
You may register as 1 of 2 types of Vendor: A Seasonal Vendor, or a Day Vendor.
A Seasonal Vendor pays fees upfront and secures their spot at the market while also receiving a discount. So a 10 Foot space vendor pays $630 for the season rather than $690 if they paid week to week (23 Weeks). A Day Vendor will simply pay per day, either at the market or via e-transfer periodically.
Before completing the Registration please review the SSI Community Market Society Guidelines here:

If you are planning to sell beer, wine, cider or spirits approval from the BC Liquor Control and Licensing Branch is required:
In regards to our current Covid 19 policy, we are currently following provincial guidelines and recommendations. There are currently no restrictions or recommendations relating to capacity, social distance, mask requirements. However, if a vendor wishes to limit the number of people accessing their stand at a time or to encourage mask use or hygiene they are welcome to do so. We will be keeping up to date regarding any changes to provincial Covid 19 protocol and making any necessary changes as the need arises.
