Roomies and Zoomies
Welcome!

Roomies & Zoomies is a new program with MCI students and PreK through 2nd grade students in the area. Our MCI students will be our "Readers" and the PreK-2nd graders will be our "listeners."

We hope to connect MCI international students with local families and children to share their native language and culture, while also learning about small-town Maine culture and customs--all while reading children's books together.

Participants must be able to meet at least once a month. (The dates and times are flexible.) Our second meeting will be at the library, where we hope to match a MCI student with a younger child and/or family. Books and snacks will be provided.
