As per ISO 17100, our translator recruitment criteria for freelance translators requires our applicants to satisfy one of the following:

1. has obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognised institution of higher education
2. has obtained a degree in any other field from a recognised institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating
3. has the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating

Please note that all of our translators need to follow the ISO 17100 QA process. This may also involve the completion of a short test piece and the signing of a confidentiality agreement.
