I would like to volunteer to shop for groceries and other essentials for neighbors in need of assistance. I understand I will be emailed instructions and a liability release form and will review and execute that document. The document will include the below releases: *

Utilization of Universal Precautions and Proper PPE Use

Shopping and Delivery Protocols

Confidentiality Agreement

I am physically able to wear the appropriate mask(s) and other PPE.

I have no signs of illness and to my knowledge have not recently been exposed to COVID-19.

The Borough of Watchung is conducting a Food Drive for Watchung families in essential need of food and will accept monetary and/or food donations to help our residents who may be experiencing financial hardship at this time.

All financial donations will be marked specifically for the “Watchung Community Fund- COVID 19 FOOD DRIVE” and will be utilized to purchase food for Watchung residents in need during this pandemic.

If you can donate any Shelf-Stable Foods (see examples below), please drop off any donations at the front entrance of the Watchung Police Department, 840 Somerset St., Watchung, NJ.

If excess donations of food or funds remain after the Stay at Home Order is lifted, they will be donated to our local Food Bank. No expired food will be accepted.
