COURSE OVERVIEW
Successful financial management begins with a solid understanding of a company's strategic goals and objectives as well as its day-to-day business practices. At the most fundamental level, financial management is concerned with managing company’s assets, liabilities, revenues, profitability and cash flow. Strategic financial management goes a step further in ensuring that the company remains on track to attain its short term and long-term goals while maximizing value for its shareholders. It is also defined as the allocation of scarce resources to identify possible strategies among competing opportunities and taking necessary action to monitor the progress of the chosen opportunity.
This 4-day virtual workshop provides the fundamentals of understanding and using both financial and non-financial information for effective strategic financial management. It will help delegates to understand the financial implication of strategic decisions as to communicate effectively the expected results to stakeholders.
