Contracted faculty colleagues,

In order to ensure sufficient faculty staffing for next year, please complete this two-minute survey if you are considering retirement within the next year. The purpose of the survey is to help determine the total number of contracted faculty that the College will hire for next year to support programs and to meet the requirements of the new contract that there be at least 206 contracted faculty positions by Fall 2020 (and no less than 210 the following year).

Your response is not binding, but it will be tremendously helpful with planning for faculty searches, replacing mission-critical faculty positions, and ensuring that the college as well as your department has a stable, robust level of contracted faculty staffing next year. The Administration and Board of Education have indicated that they do not plan to offer a retirement incentive this year or in the foreseeable future.

This is not an anonymous survey, but we have included questions that allow you to choose whether your name and/or department remain confidential.
