SoundBio Lab Project Proposal Form
Thanks for your interest in conducting research at Sound Bio Lab (SLB), a BSL1 facility. You have the option to either submit your proposal as an Indivudal or Community Project. Summaries of these projects types are provided below.

Types of projects:
  • Private Projects are designed and carried out by one or more SoundBio Lab members. Though it is not required, we invite highly encourage private project leads to share their work and engage with our broader community through our Slack workspace and events.
  • Community Projects are designed and led by a small leadership team who receive complimentary SoundBio Lab membership. These projects must be open to additional project members and designed to accommodate folks with all levels of prior lab experience. Community project goals and updates are shared widely and regular opportunities are organized for prospective members to learn more and get involved.
This form is required and must be completed and approved by SoundBio Lab before using the lab space to pursue new research projects. If you need help filling out the form or have questions, you can contact us at projectreview@sound.bio. Thanks for helping us keep a safe working environment at SBL!
