Smaller, so it's done quicker, is easier to playtest, and is more likely to be balanced

Yes, as long as they play nice with the customs.

Keep it under control, going too far off the path makes things hard to manage.

We're not accountable to anyone but ourselves, we can be a little creative.

A new setting feasible as an MtG plane (High fantasy, magitech, dungeonpunk, etc.)
