Event date: Saturday May 21 from 2:30pm - 5:30pm

We are happy to announce that the long-running tradition of having a "Spring Fling" is back after a 2 year break! It will be outdoors at Greene-Rose Park, just a few minutes walk from school. We will have games, arts and crafts, spring activities, a scavenger hunt, baby animal petting zoo, an auction and more. We need volunteers to make this happen!

Can you do any of the following? Please check off as many as you can! You won't have to do ALL of the items you signup for. The more options we have to assign people, the better.

Lend a lawn game, such as bean bag toss, bowling, etc. Fill in details in the comment area below.

Bake for the bake sale

Help at a table for 1 hour, such as the bake sale table or a different station that we assign you to.

Help setup anywhere between 1:00 - 2:30 pm

Help break down from 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Go to Costco to pickup some snacks (you will be reimbursed). Requires a Costco membership.

Lend a 10'x10' popup canopy to the event

Do you have a pickup truck or large van to help us move the canopies and tables and chairs to a nearby location after the event?

KID INVOLVEMENT Volunteer Opportunities

Sign-making for various parts of the event. E.g. making some colorful signs on large paper that say things like "AUCTION" etc.

Be on the obstacle course team and help design and setup an obstacle course before the event starts.

Would your child or grade or a group of kids like to have a table for 30 minutes - 1 hour where they can do something like: perform magic tricks, read tarot cards, or some other fun skill/activity they'd like to share? Fill in your ideas in the comments area below.

Do you have an auction item to donate to the Silent Auction area? In the past, the PTO has gathered dozens of auction donations from local businesses but this year we're not going to do this since so many businesses are struggling. We've decided instead to just reach out to the Cambridgeport community and see if someone is associated with a business that can donate something. This could be an item or a gift card or a service. Or, for example, in the past we've had a parent who is an architect donate a free 1-hour consultation. Let us know if you have any possibilities!
