Conservation Easement 101 Workshop - Carter Farms
We will be doing a conservation easement 101 workshop at the farm on July 22, 2023 from 11-2, with VA DCR, USDA NRCS, Virginia Outdoors Foundation, Piedmont Environmental Council, Conservation Partners LLC, and Capital Region Land Conservancy to share with black farmers and landowners about conservation easements, what they are, how to apply and how you can benefit financially from them. Our goal is to expose black farmers and landowners to these opportunities and increase the number of black farmers and landowners into these programs.
