Learning Violin From The Master
Committed to sharing his life-long passion for music and a wealth of teaching experience, Robert Lau, a well-known Conductor, Music Director, and violin teacher, is offering his selfless service to music and HCCS students an awesome opportunity to learn violin and enhance the learning experience of string instruments.

In his spanned over 40 years' devotion to music, Mr. Lau received numerous awards for his outstanding teaching and community services. Mr. Lau was the Founder, President, Music Director and Conductor of the Community Youth Orchestra of Southern California. He has established a comprehensive running system of violin and violas, and majority of his students have become top violinists. Some were selected as concert masters and more than 40 students passed British Royal School of Music exam and obtained their diplomas in Music. The collaborative interactions between Mr. Lau and his students pave a progressive learning path that builds up strong foundation and success.

These are string classes for all skill levels and covering eastern and western style music. Classes are free, made possible by Mr. Lau's generosity and volunteer spirit; however, any contribution is welcome to help cover facility use and administrative support by the school. Sign up HERE to reserve your spot!
