This course will prepare child care providers to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and Sudden
Unexplained Infant Death (SUID) in family home, group home, and child care center settings by using safe sleep practices recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Oklahoma child care licensing.. It will also help them create a written policy on implementing safe sleep practices in the program that they can share and model with the families they serve.
