If you’ve longed for lower-cost retreat options, this one’s
for you. The entire weekend’s programming, up to 3 nights’ accommodations, one
meal, and all materials are yours for the low fees below (total, not per night).
Some options may sell out before others, which is why we're asking for a second choice. Note this is a rustic, camp-like adventure, and the only guaranteed "private, single" option is to bring your own tent. (But you may get lucky, depending on the total number of registrants.)
Descriptions of each option:
CABIN: 1 of 3 double-sized, bottom bunks in each of 3 cabins, which have a small fridge, table, chairs, & electrical outlets. We’ll likely have at least one Early Bird cabin and one Chainsaw Snoring cabin.
LOFT TWIN: 1 of 7 twin beds in the loft of the lodge. (Probably best for party animals or night owls, since we’re likely to be using the main room until at least 10 p.m.)
SHELTER: 1 of 4 twin-sized bottom bunks, with mattresses, in each of 4 Adirondack shelters, plus 2 in a fifth. Shelters have one light, 4 USB ports, and a porch, but are unheated. (Overnight temps in October are usually around 50°.)
BYO TENT: Several flat, official tent sites at the retreat center. Overnight temps in October are usually around 50°.
PROGRAMMING ONLY: If you’re local, you can drive home at night. Or if you have an RV, you can arrange your own campsite in the campground (starts at $30/night); the retreat facilities are less than 1/4 mi walk (depending on which trail & campsite you take). The park does not take reservations after September, but a shortage of campsites is very unlikely.
