Outstanding students play a vital role in our Farmington community.  Each month, the Farmington Utah City Council celebrates exemplary leadership and involvement from local students through the Farmington City Council Outstanding Student of the Month Award. Staff, faculty, citizens, and students are encouraged to help recognize the outstanding accomplishments and contributions of local student leaders by participating in the award nomination process outlined below. Please feel free to submit multiple nominations.  If nominating several students, please submit each nomination individually.  
Nomination Process
To submit a nomination:
  • Student must live or attend school in Farmington Utah
  • Student must exhibit above and beyond work in one of the following areas:
  1. Capacity for excellent leadership
  2. Academic excellence
  3. Active citizenship on/off campus
  4. Overcome overwhelming obstacles
  • Hit Submit on Nomination. 
    1. Nominations should be between 100-500 words. 
  • If selected your  your nominee will be contacted and invited to attend City Council be honored by the Farmington City Council
