2024 Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Application for Overnight and Day Sailing Camp at Mystic Seaport Museum
The CIT program gives 14-18-year-olds the opportunity to develop leadership skills in a residential and day summer sailing camp environment. CITs build teaching, teamwork, and youth development skills under the guidance of camp staff. The CIT program is a volunteer community service position that includes leadership training. Applications for overnight positions are due by March 17, 2024. Applications for day positions are due by March 31, 2024.

Overnight camp runs from Monday to Friday each week. CITs are dropped off on Sunday afternoon and get picked up on Friday afternoon. Room and board is included. Weekend accommodations (Friday and Saturday nights) are not available. Day camp runs from Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30. Overnight accommodations are not available for day CITs.

Day CITs must be at least 14 years old (2 consecutive weeks are preferred)
Overnight CITs must be at least 15 years old (2 consecutive weeks are preferred)
