Librarian Story Submission
Thank you for your interest in submitting your library story! Every one of these stories is so unique and such a delight to read! We are encouraged by each librarian's story and know that many other librarians and prospective librarians are blessed by them as well!

When you submit your story, we will add it to The Card Catalog - the private lending library resource site. Your story will appear in text on our site with your name, your library name, and a link to any website or catalog you may have. We will also record your story (giving you full credit) and have that audio version stream right from your story page so that we can make it easier for some of our readers who prefer to listen instead of reading online. That recording will also appear on the Plumfield Moms podcast as a part of The Card Catalog series, and it will link back to your page. Finally, your story page will be linked inside the Private Lending Library Directory hosted at Biblioguides.com as well.

If you would like to preview some examples, you can check out Sherry Early and Sara Masarik's library stories.

May we have your permission to record your story so that an audio version is available to stream on your story page? Either Diane or Sara will record your story in their professional studios, and they will read it exactly as it is written by you.  *
May we have your permission to feature the recorded version of your story on the Plumfield Moms podcast? Your story will be credited to you and linked back to your story. Also, your library information will be available inside the podcast description so that potential patrons can find you.  *
Some librarians love to tell their own story. Some would prefer to have some helping in writing it. We want to celebrate your story and are more than happy to either run the story you have written or give you a series of questions to answer and we will write your story for you. If we write the story for you, we will happily submit it to you for approval before it is published. Which would you prefer? *
