Ongerup Gym Membership 2024
At the Ongerup Town Hall there has been established a gym which can be accessed 24/7 (excluding on 3 x occasions per week when fitness classes are run - refer below for details). 

Please note that there is a monthly gym fee of $10 which will be billed at the end of each month unless you contact us to have your name removed from the Gym Membership Register. 

The Ongerup Gym is unavailable on Thursdays (9-10am) and on Saturday (8-9am) for fitness classes (supplementary). If you would like to sign up to a fitness class, please contact Dimity Creagh (Sweat in the Sticks - Fitness with Dimity).

The Ongerup Gym is a 24/7 non-staffed gym. Please use caution when exercising.

Please note that an Ongerup Gym Membership only allows access to the gym rooms. Please keep out of other rooms in the building.

Children are to be supervised at all times.

For the comfort of other members and/or other town hall users, please keep noise to an appropriate level.

Please return equipment to racks when you have finished and ensure that all lights and the air-conditioning is switched off before leaving the premises.

Your personal belongings and bags are your responsibility.

Please take note of all safety and instructional signs to ensure your safety at all times.

WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIBILITY

1. I accept and assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, damages (both economic and non-economic) and losses of any type and discharge Yongergnow-Ongerup Community Resource Centre Inc, employees, officers, directors and associates from any and all claims, demands, damages resulting from or arising out the use of said equipment and facilities. I expressly agree to indemnify and hold Yongergnow-Ongerup Community Resource Centre Inc harmless against any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action, of any person or entity, that may arise from injuries or damages sustained by me.

2. I agree to be solely responsible for my safety and wellbeing. I understand that Yongergnow-Ongerup Community Resource Centre Inc does not provide supervision, instruction, or assistance for the use of the facilities and equipment. I agree to be solely responsible for my safety and wellbeing.

3. I understand and agree that Yongergnow-Ongerup Community Resource Centre Inc is not responsible for property that is lost, stolen or damaged while in/on/about the premises.

4. I agree to comply with all rules imposed by the company regarding the use of the facilities and equipment. I agree to conduct myself in a controlled and reasonable manner at all times and to refrain from using any equipment in a manner inconsistent with its intended design and purpose.

5. I understand and acknowledge that the use of exercise equipment involves risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death.

6. I understand and agree that my use of the facilities and equipment is only to be undertaken on my own personal time, and that my use of the facilities and equipment is not within the course or scope of my employment.
