There’s no denying it. Our world is broken. Since 2016, hate and bigotry have been consistently rising. Racial violence and murder continue unabated. Autocrats are waging war against innocent people. A pandemic is wreaking havoc across the globe. Our rights to govern our own bodies are being taken away by judges who claim that the constitution and culture require that they tell us what’s best for us. The most vulnerable among us are being gunned down in senseless violence, while our leaders refuse to enact legislation to help keep us safe. These times are trying our souls. We hold all this and so much more. Our personal life challenges do not evaporate in the wake of world upheaval. Mental and physical illness, family dysfunction, emotional and physical abuse, economic distress, and more continue to plague us even as the world seems to be falling apart around us. What can we do? Is there a spiritual solution? Where is Love calling us? What are our souls teaching us? Come together with other seekers who are finding their spiritual direction in these challenging times.
