By submitting this guest director registration form, I agree to the following:
*I understand that it is the Director’s responsibility to know and understand the plot, story line and characters of each licensed and unlicensed play and as such, agree to adhere to the integrity of the play without modifications or exclusions. I understood that if chosen to be a Guest Director, I must commit to all rehearsals scheduled and will ensure all Actors hold to the same commitment. I hold harmless Act II Players, its officers, members, fellow actors, and volunteers as defined as a “Release of Liability.” In addition, I agree to the use of any or all photography or sound which includes my person or voice. I agree to a criminal background check. I will always maintain professionalism on behalf of Act II Players. It is understood that cell phone use and texting are not permitted in rehearsals.
Guest Directors are hired with the understanding and knowledge of stage, acting and theatre operations, with proven abilities to educate, lead, support, and prepare their actors and crew towards a successful production.
It is understood that the Guest Director will seek counsel from the Producer and another member of the board before casting their students or family members. *
