This form must be completed by June 10th 2023 at midnight.

Please fill out this form in full whether you are a new or returning student. Time slots will be in person on June 11th 2023 between 10:00-6:00 PM and will be emailed to you individually a few weeks after this form is complete. Time slots are given strictly based on age as of December 31, 2023. Zoom/Video submissions can be an alternative method if you are unable to make an in person time slot, however in person is preferred. Please contact us for more details if this option is needed.

Dancers should be in proper audition attire including; tight fitting leggings or jazz shorts with a tight fitting tank top or leotard. Hair should be pulled back into a neat ponytail or bun. Dancers should have jazz shoes, half soles or toe undies. Dancers 13 plus will need socks also.

Prism Dance Connections is a Youth Specialized Dance School based in Nanaimo BC which is dedicated to advanced training and opportunities for Island dancers. Prism Dance Connections (PDC) offers two programs, the Technical Training Program and the Performance Team, both which focus on the dance styles of jazz, lyrical jazz, contemporary and modern stage. The Technical Training Program (TTP) is intended for dancers age 9 + who are looking to supplement their current studio training with an additional opportunity for technique classes. The Performance Team (PT) is intended for dancers 13+ (by December 31st 2023) and means being enrolled in the Technical Training Program plus competing and performing with our team.  PDC seeks to support dancers by providing extra class hours, guest teachers, workshops, photoshoots and other unique opportunities.


PDC was born out of a desire to do more than just train dancers; it was created to make healthy, strong, well rounded dance professionals. Katie and Sam share a creative connection that inspires and pushes one another and they look forward to participating in the success of Prism Dance Connections and its students.
