We are SO excited you are thinking about representing a country at this year's Heritage Night at West Elementary School. Heritage Night will be celebrated on April 25th, 2024 from 5:30 to 8 PM. Please fill in this form if you wish to represent your country and host your "Country Booth". This is your chance to represent your country and share your unique family traditions with the West El family!
Please review the guidelines below as you decide to sign up to represent.
Heritage Night @ West Elementary Guidelines
- Commitment will involve: 1) Prior to event start, planning your country booth - getting your 'All About my Country' poster ready, planning activities and coming 30 mins prior to event start time to get the table ready, 2) During the event - engaging with students and sharing information about the country you are representing and 3) after the event, clean up of your table.
- We want your participation! You can be the first, second, or even third generation representative of the country of your origin! Talk to your grandparents, aunts, uncles, distant cousins or older family members to learn unique facts about your country of origin.
- Once you submit this form, the planning team will review and get back to you by email with confirmation or for additional details.
