Thank you for registering for the Be Well Beautiful Woman Reiki Level I & II training with our founder and Reiki Master & Teacher, Demarra West. Demarra is also a licensed professional counselor, certified in trauma informed yoga, a certified yoga teacher, and trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (aka tapping) and meditation.

In Reiki Level 1 certification, you will get attuned to Reiki which enables you to become a channel for this healing energy. Once attuned you will be able to give Reiki to yourself and anyone else for the rest of your life. As far as Reiki Level 2 certification, it teaches you to perform Distant or Absentee Reiki. This means that you are able to send Reiki to yourself and others through space and time, anywhere, whenever you choose to. This level is considered the practitioner level of Reiki, allowing you to start charging for your Reiki services.

Scholarships: Be Well Beautiful Woman is dedicated to ensuring that money isn't a barrier for women to receive essential wellness and business support. Full scholarships are available for Kalamazoo County women who exhibit a financial need and can share how they plan to use Reiki to heal themselves and others. There is a section in the application that allows you to share if you're in need of a scholarship. These scholarships are made possible based on the generosity of our funder Stryker Johnston Foundation, and our fiscal sponsor, The Synergy Center. If you receive a scholarship you will be expected to participate in evaluation (e.g. interview, survey, testimonial) to help our funder understand the impact of you receiving such scholarship. Please note scholarships are available on a first come, first serve basis.
