Please complete this form if you are interested in going on the herping trip to a cool area ~1h away in South-central NY (which we are purposefully not disclosing here to to protect the spot) on
Sunday, April 28th, 2024, and would like to reserve your spot. We will
leave at 10:00 AM from in front of Corson-Mudd and return by 3:00 pm at the latest. Transportation and boots
(if you want them, they won't be needed as this isn't a wet area) will be provided by the club! This is a medium-intensity herping trip, but it should be fine even if you don't have much herping experience before. The area has a lot to see, including high densities of common and moderately rare/range restricted species, a few protected/threatened species, and some venomous snakes as well, so caution is needed and staying in groups with someone familiar with herping will be necessary.
Spaces are currently limited to 12 people, but we can bring more people if needed. This form will close on Friday, April 19th, at which point we will contact you via email and confirm your spot on the roster. This trip will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis using this form.
