Expanding Your Horizons 2021 : Volunteer Form
Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is an outreach event held by the Society of Women Engineers where middle and high school girls interested in STEM enjoy workshops put on by various organizations around campus. This event is March 6, and volunteer shifts vary depending on the role you choose. We may be reaching back out to you if we have an excess of volunteers for a particular position.
Disclaimer: We have the highest need for group leaders!

Important Dates:
1. Volunteer Application Deadline: 2/21/21 11:59 PM
2. Volunteer Training: 2/28/21 [Times TBD] After the submissions are reviewed, the SWE Officer Board will proceed to schedule volunteer training dates that are mandatory for all volunteers.
3. Final EYH Run-through Meeting: 2/28/21[Time TBD] The SWE Board will be meeting with all of the workshop leaders and volunteers to go over event logistics and answer any last questions.
4. Virtual EYH Conference: March 6th, 20218:30-3:00 PM

 1. GROUP LEADER: 2-3 group leaders will be responsible for groups of 20-30 students and answer any questions they have as well as help them navigate workshops virtually. Responsibilities include answering questions, help students navigate Zoom links, and assist in any troubleshooting during the event.

2. MODERATORS: Moderators will be monitoring the chat during the opening & closing ceremony as well as the Women in STEM panel. Responsibilities include assisting students with any technical questions, reporting any inappropriate content within Zoom chat.
