The Clay Studio Collective (CSC) is a community-based organization with a focus on cooperation and respect. Open Studio sessions are available 24/7 for CSC members, except when pottery classes are in session (studio schedule attached). All pottery classes are provided by Krista Cameron Pottery.
CSC members must have a good working knowledge of the pottery process and be able to work independently in the studio. Members are expected to read, respect and agree to all policies and procedures in the CSC Membership Guide, which will be forwarded to you once your application is approved.
Individuals interested in becoming a member but have little or no experience will be required to complete an 8-week beginners class pottery class with Krista Cameron Pottery. Inquiries should be directed to kcameronpottery@gmail.com
STUDIO MEMBERSHIPS OPTIONS
1. Monthly ($150 per month with a one-year or 6-month commitment) can be paid in full or monthly. Automatic monthly e-Transfer payments are required and due on the 1st of each month.
2. Hourly (purchased in blocks of 10 hours for $150) must be paid in full and used within 6 months of purchase. Hourly members can access the studio for a single hour or multiple hours at one time, up to the amount of hours purchased.
Cubby space for the storage of clay and personal supplies is available for $15 per month.
STUDIO SUPPLIES
Clay used at the studio must be purchased through the CSC at a cost of $50 per bag. The up-charge on the clay pays for glazes and firings. It is strongly recommended that members bring their own tools and bats, since there will be minimal supplies available in the studio.
YOUR APPLICATION
Fill in the information below. Once your application is received, it will be reviewed. Once approved you will receive an email with a CSC Agreement and Membership Guide. Following this, an orientation meeting will be scheduled at the studio to tour the facility and answer any questions.
STUDIO SCHEDULE
The following schedule will be effective for the months of September thru to May each
year. There will be additional Open Studio time during the months of June, July and August. A revised schedule will be forwarded to all members at that time. When classes are in session, CSC members are not allowed in the studio and must ensure they have scheduled enough time for cleanup to vacate the studio at the appropriate time.
