Thank you for participating in our MCTC Teacher of the Year Nomination process. This program identifies and honors exemplary teachers who go above and beyond the call of duty. A Teacher of the Year MUST:
- be a teacher in at least his/her second year of teaching or beyond
- be a dedicated and skilled teacher leader who is planning to actively continue his/her career for the foreseeable future
- demonstrate leadership and innovation inside and outside of the classroom walls
- have the respect and admiration of students, parents and colleagues
- be an expert in his/her field who guides students of all backgrounds and abilities to achieve excellence
