SSWAG Membership Form
Membership Runs July 1 - June 30 of each year.
Membership is non-refundable.
Membership Codes:
Active Member - any person certified or approved by the
Georgia Professional Standards Commission as a School Social Worker / Visiting Teacher. An active member has full voting privileges and may hold any office at the state and/or district level.

Associate Member - any persons (i.e. Paraprofessionals, Attendance
Workers, etc.) engaged in School Social Work/Visiting Teacher activities provided they work the majority of the time in those activities and provide
School Social Work/Visiting Teacher services. Associate members have full voting privileges but may only hold district level offices.

Retired Member - Holds active membership and voting privileges.

Student Member - students enrolled in a social work program at the
bachelor's level and not currently employed by an educational system providing SSW/VT services.
Proof of student status may be requested. Student members have full
voting privileges but may only hold district level offices.

Affiliate Member - any professional persons actively involved in promoting
the SSW/VT program. An affiliate member may not vote or hold district or
state office.
