Dear Families: Your child’s homework assignment for this evening is to register for the Summer Reading Challenge at the Milton Public Library.  This is a fun and free way to track a child's reading using an app called Beanstack. Participation in this program is required summer work for all Milton elementary students.

1.) Please visit https://miltonlibrary.beanstack.org/ to register your child for the Challenge. Multiple children can be registered under the same family account.
• If your child already has a Beanstack account from previous reading challenges, please use that to sign in, then click to register for the 2022 Summer Reading Challenge. Can't remember your username and password? Call the Milton Public Library at 617-898-4957.
• If you need to create a new Beanstack account, just visit miltonlibrary.beanstack.org and follow the directions. Each child will need to select a username and password as part of the registration process. Be sure to remember yours, although the Library can help you if you forget.
• If you have difficulty with computer access, please contact Marti O’Keefe McKenna, MPS Family Outreach Liaison at 617-980-7343 and she will be happy to assist you.

2.) After completing the online registration, please fill out the form below by TUESDAY, JUNE 14th.

WE WANT TO BE SURE EVERYONE IS REGISTERED BEFORE THE CHALLENGE BEGINS.

Hints for success:
• No library card is required to participate… but we sure think it would be great if you got one.  Children ages 5 and up are eligible for their own library card.
• Keep a record of your summer reading username and password in a central location! We recommend writing it down and taking a photo of it with your phone.
