It's that time of year to start thinking spring sports! We are still doing preliminary sign-ups for softball and baseball. We haven't fielded a varsity baseball team in 4 years and we're looking to start the program up again. We had great numbers for softball last year and hope to continue that trend. This is a preliminary sign up so we can assess numbers, which helps us prepare accordingly for the season. There is a lot of preparation that goes into spring sports with equipment, field rentals, etc. Please sign up as soon as possible.
8th graders will likely be encouraged to play varsity to help with numbers, especially for baseball.
Our middle school teams co-op with St. Mikes school in Augusta and play in the Sheepscot Valley league. Please keep in mind, this involves travel as our practices and games are in Augusta.
High School Start Date: March 18 (Pitchers and Catchers), March 25 (Full Practices)
Middle School Start Date: First week of April
We have a mandatory parent/player meeting on Monday, March 11 at 6pm in the Temple gym. This is for our varsity teams only. St. Mikes will likely be holding preseason meetings for the middle school teams. If you'd like more information about our co-op with them, please reach out to me.
