CBW Introductory Spatial 'Omics Analysis (ISO) 2024 - Pre-Work
Welcome to your CBW workshop!   

Before we begin, there is some pre-work that you need to complete. It is your responsibility to complete this pre-work prior to attending the workshop, as we will begin the workshop where this pre-work leaves off. This takes up to 6 hours to complete, but varies widely depending on your previous experience with Python.

There will be an Amazon Web Services/Unix review session on Monday, July 8th from 10-3 EST. It will be held on Zoom, included in your registration fee, and is optional but highly recommended. 

The first module (10:10 - 11:10AM) will teach you how to connect to AWS so you can complete the workshop labs. We recommend all students from each course attend this portion.

The remaining sections (11:15-3) will teach you the basics of Unix and using the command line. We recommend that  participants who do not have experience with the command line attend this portion.
