• NSW Tertiary Student Concessions are for the exclusive use of the nominated card holder and are not transferrable.
NSW Tertiary Student Concession Opal card Holders:
• The Concession Opal card is subject to the Opal Terms of Use available at
transportnsw.info/opal-terms-of-use.
• The Concession Opal card along with proof of entitlement in the form of a Transport for NSW issued Transport Concession Entitlement Card or an Approved Form of Student ID Card must be produced while travelling on a concession fare if requested by a bus driver, Revenue Protection Officer or Police.
• If the Concession Opal card is lost, stolen or damaged, the cardholder must log into their Opal account at
transportnsw.info and report their card as lost or stolen.
NSW Tertiary Student Transport Concession Entitlement Card Holders:
• The Transport Concession Entitlement Card is subject to the Terms and Conditions available at
www.transportnsw.info/tertiary-students.
• Outside the Opal network the Transport for NSW issued Transport Concession Entitlement Card must be produced when purchasing a concession
ticket product, and while travelling on such a ticket, if requested by a bus driver, Revenue Protection Officer or Police.
• In the Opal network, while travelling using a Concession Opal card, either an Approved Form of Student ID Card or a Transport for NSW issued Transport Concession Entitlement Card must be carried at all times and produced upon request by a bus driver, Revenue Protection Officer or Police.
• If the Transport for NSW issued Transport Concession Entitlement Card is lost, stolen or damaged, it must be reported to Transport for NSW. An application for a replacement card should be submitted to Transport for NSW.
