Before Care Program Registration 2021-2022

The River Valley Before Care Program is a service intended for families whose work schedules require care
outside of the school’s hours of operation. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing program which is fun for students and reliable for parents.

Hours of Before Care: 7:00 am - 8:10 am

Registration:
Families intending to access the Before Care Program must complete this registration form and pay a $20.00 fee BEFORE they will be accepted into the program.

Fees:
For students arriving between 7:00-7:30 is $9.00.
For students arriving between 7:30-8:10 is $5.00

Student Safety & Parent Responsibility:
Parents are asked to walk their child(ren) into the building and must sign-in with the teacher. If students enter the building before 8:10 am and do not sign in to Before Care, they will be sent to the program and families will be billed accordingly.

Location:
The Before Care Program is located at the end of the first-floor hallway. In addition, the program also makes use of the gymnasium.

Behavioral expectations in the Before Care program are consistent with those during our regular school day. Parents of children whose behavior is not appropriate will be contacted and processes similar to those used in the school for conduct will be followed. In extreme or ongoing circumstances of inappropriate or disruptive behavior, a child may be deprived use of the Before Care program.

Financial Hardship:
If fees for the Before Care Program present a financial hardship for your family, please contact Dan Bouchard at 978-465-0065 ext: 119, or at dbouchard@rivervalleycharter.org.

Weather Cancellations:
Before Care is offered every day in which the school is open for students, with the exception of the last day of school. If school is delayed or cancelled because of inclement weather, the Before Care Program will be cancelled.

Billing:
Hours used will be reconciled on a monthly basis and invoiced electronically to the parents for
immediate payment. (Parents with predictable schedules are encouraged to pre-pay.) If payment is not received
within ten days, students will not be allowed access to the program until the account is paid in full. Questions
