If approval is granted, the FSSD will charge a nonrefundable annual fee for each out of district student due July 31st. The fee may be paid in a lump sum or bi-annually (1/2 due July 31st and 1/2 due December 31st). Rates approved by the FSSD Board of Education 2023-2024 are as follows:
- In Williamson County but outside FSSD boundaries:  $2,000 per the first student; $1,000 each additional
- Outside Williamson County:  $4,000 per student

Payment(s) to be made either by: 1) check or money order payable to the Franklin Special School District and sent directly to:  Accounting Coordinator / Franklin Special School District / 507 New Highway 96 W / Franklin, TN 37064, or 2) Pay online at: https://franklinssd.revtrak.net/central-office#/f/k-8-school-tuition (additional fees apply for online payments).

If payment is not received by the date due, your child will not be admitted or allowed to continue in the FSSD.

IN ADDITION, I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Transportation will not be provided.  
- Attendance will be regular with arrival and departure according to the school rules. My child will have no more than 10 unexcused absences or 10 tardies/early dismissals (total) during the year.
- My child will be picked up promptly after school, or will be enrolled in the MAC Program if space is available.
- Not following the FSSD Board and school policies will result in review at the end of the semester for possible return to my zoned district.
- I will pay all appropriate charges promptly (lunch, MAC, etc.) unless my child is entitled to subsidies for such charges.
- Out of district approval may be denied if it would result in overcrowded programs.  
- The information contained in this application is true and correct.

If your preferred school is at program capacity, you will be notified of the open schools for your grade level.

Please note:  If approved, this document does not register your child for attendance.  It grants permission to complete the FSSD registration process for one school year.  Permission must be granted annually.  If permission is granted by the Director of Schools, you must still complete all registration requirements prior to attending.
