The Union County Christmas Parade will celebrate its 66th year on November 24th, 2019 @ 2:00p.m. in Downtown Monroe.  A poignant and long-held tradition, the Union County Christmas Parade is an exciting opportunity for families, businesses, churches, clubs and local government to annually gather in the spirit of community and celebration. The Alliance for Children serves as the coordinating agency for the parade, reserving float space for participating groups and businesses, as well as managing all general logistics of the parade, continuing its tradition as Union County’s most popular and longest running holiday tradition.  
PLEASE READ AND PROVIDE YOUR CONSENT BELOW: Sathya Sai Center of Charlotte will be joining Charlotte community Union County Christmas Parade to present Walk for Values. Participant shall indemnify and hold harmless the Sathya Sai Center of Charlotte against all losses, costs, damages, expense and liability caused by an accident or other occurrence in bodily injury, including death, sickness and disease to any persons, or damage or destruction of property, real or personal, arising directly or indirectly from operations, products or services rendered at the Union County Christmas Parade. Pursuant to the requirement by the North Carolina Department of Transportation for use of state roads and in consideration of participant being allowed to participate in the 2019 Union County Christmas Parade, participant hereby, for himself, his heirs, and anyone entitled to act on his behalf, release and discharge the NC Department of Transportation, City of Monroe,  and Alliance for Children, its officers, agents, and employees from any and all claims of damages, loss, injury or liabilities of any kind suffered by participant as a result of participant participation in the parade. Participant assume all risks associated with participating in the event, including but not limited to personal injury and damage to personal property. The participant will indemnify and reimburse Alliance for Children in full for all expenses, including attorney fees, it may incur by means of its defense. Participant grants Sathya Sai Center of Charlotte and Alliance for Children the unlimited right to use and/or reproduce photographs or videos of participant’s (and his/her family members' listed in this form) participation in the parade for the internal or external promotional and informational activities of Alliance for Children and Sathya Sai Center of Charlotte.                                                                                                                                                                           I have read and agree to abide by the above                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             *
