ABOUT THE RETREAT
RETREAT WILL INCLUDE:

Part 1:  Registration and Morning Refreshments, Morning Prayers, (NOTE:  Registration and morning refreshments begins at 8:45 and ends at 9:30 AM)

Part 2:  Continuing our Search for God:  We are carrying forward the theme of the 2022 Sobor at our 2023 retreat by examining how discernment ignites and judgment extinguishes our desire to create a ”Clean Heart and Right Spirit”—so essential to working out our salvation.   We believe that this entreaty’s articulation in Psalm 51:10-19 can be understood to be at the heart of Great Lent’s call to repentance.  Our discussion will focus on the Church's teaching on developing discernment and avoiding the destructive and damaging effects of our judgmental behavior.  This experience will include Lecture, Discussion and a Group Exercise.

LUNCH:  Our delicious traditional Lenten Retreat Luncheon.Supporting

Part 3:  Wrap up of morning discussions and updates on Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine and Sponsoring Refugees through the US Governments Program "Uniting for Ukraine" efforts and how we can support these efforts.
