Teen week overnight camp
Dear Church Family!

Thank you for your interest! This is a REGISTRATION FORM for teen camp/retreat.  

Teens 12 -18 years old are invited to an Orthodox teen camp session at Gentle Villa, Goodrich, TX. Activities includes games, hiking, choir/church reading, Q&A sessions with priest, hands-on projects (e.g. candle-making), movie night. God willing we will have Liturgy on Friday morning (June 24th).

There are 20 spots available for campers. 3 adult volunteers' members of St. Jonah will stay at the villa overnight. Once we reach the capacity of 20 campers, the registration will be closed, so please register earlier to reserve a spot. 18-year-old campers will be asked to lead smaller groups of younger campers under direction of volunteers. Each room has 2 bunk beds, so there will be 4 campers per room. To cover the cost of stay, food and activities we need to raise $250 per camper. You can submit your donation via check to St. Jonah Orthodox Church or link: https://saintjonah.org/how-to-make-donations-to-st-jonah/
St. Jonah's parish families are eligible for full or partial scholarships (please make sure to apply earlier, especially if you need scholarship).

Campers will meet at St. Jonah (Spring, TX) Sunday, June 19th.  We will depart by not later than 2:30 pm returning back to St. Jonah around 2:00 pm on Friday, June 24th.  CHECK IN at the Villa (Goodrich, TX) is:  Sunday, June 19th, 4 pm. CHECK OUT: Friday, June 24th 12 pm.

Outside activities / hiking. We will remind all campers to wear hat, use sunscreen and possibly bug spray for hiking and other outside activities. Please let us know if you don't want your child to use sunscreen or bug spray at all or to avoid specific ingredients.
Health/ Allergies - please let us know of any health issues/allergies that can interfere with camp activities. Please note that this information will be shared with camp volunteers to make sure we keep our campers safe. There is no nurse at the camp.
Health/ Allergies - please let us know if your child requires a special diet or if he/she is allergic to a particular food type. Again, this information will be shared with camp volunteers.
Does a camper need a ride to the camp and back?
Can you give another camper a ride to the camp in Goodrich, back to Spring or both ways if needed?  If yes, how many extra seats you can offer?
Are you ok if we take pictures during camp activities and share it with parents and parishioners of St. Jonah's?
Does the camper need any special travel arrangements (for e.g. pick up from the airport)? Please let us know here, we do our best to help, but it's not guaranteed.
