Competition is open to the first seven (7) applicants in each division. Deadline to apply is Sunday, June 30, 2024. Maximum performance time is four (4) minutes. Upon completion of the application, you will receive an email that the application filing was successful. You will be notified by the co-ordinator prior to the date of the competition.

The Youth Talent Showcase is Thursday, July 4th at 6:00pm on the Libro Credit Union Main Stage. Registration is 5:15pm the day of. There is NO gate admission on Thursday night of the festival so it is free for all to come out and support.

Each contestant is judged on;
1) Appearance
2) Talent
3) Question & Answer
4) Audience Appreciation

The judges will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place only. All contestants will receive one (1) Ride All Day bracelet, good for any one (1) day during the Essex Fun Fest, regardless of how they finished. As well, each contestant is welcome to ride on our Fun Fest parade float on Saturday morning, July 6th at 10:30am.
