Please fill out the following form below to present a poster at the 2021 Research Review. Please include your name, department, abstract title, author list, poster abstract (please try to keep to 500 words or less), etc.
The 2021 SESE Research Review will be in an online format this year. Please save your poster as a high resolution .png file and submit it to

The abstract submission form will close on Friday 4/2 @ 5 PM CT.

We will be using Gather for the event which allows you to have an avatar, walk around, and interact with other research review attendees and interact with individual posters.
Will there be live presenting times?
Presentations will be live and in person on the virtual platform so please just upload a high resolution picture of your poster as a .JPEG or .PNG File. Please make sure that it is high resolution and not blurry. If you submit a poster you will be able to present your work live to people walking around the virtual poster hall.
How will it work the day of the research review?
On the day of the research review everyone's poster will already be uploaded to the virtual environment. Posters will be presented between 2 and 3:30 on the day of the event. Posters will be in alphabetical order based on your first name. Each poster will have a number associated with it in the program that will be visible on the floor in Gather. To enter your poster viewing area enter the shaded region on the floor and press your x key. If you are an even numbered poster please stand by your poster from 2-2:45 PM. If you are an odd numbered poster please stand by your poster from 2:45-3:30. People will be able to walk up to your poster, look at it, and interact with you while you are standing next to it.
