The Vibrant Hawai‘i Economy Stream is creating a Community Resource Map to support development of and programming within Hawai‘i Island's network of Resilience Hubs.

Information collected will be compiled into a living Resource List and pinned to a digital map. The goal of this ongoing project is to strengthen our collective ability to take action and further connect resources (people, organizations) with expressed needs.

Immediately, Resilience Hubs will be stood up to help with COVID response: keiki learning outside of the classroom, support for kupuna, community resilience programming, workforce development, food and resource distribution, communications, curated experiences that support small business and local entrepreneurs, and more.

For the mid- and long-term, Resilience Hubs will be developed by community in a way that supports connection, innovation, belonging, and builds social and economic resilience. These hubs can be leveraged during times of disaster, activating to deploy emergency assistance and communication to impacted communities.

Our first resource compilation will be available July 23, and will be updated as more information comes in.
