Please fill out this form completely by June 1st. Remember, QUARTETING is extremely challenging and if you want you to have fun, please choose music you like so that you will be successful at performing and entertaining your audience.
Music is found in the HX Barbershop Quartet Music Folder. COST IS $10 per person, and AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCES. (Best Overall, Audience Favorite, Best Varitey, Most Comedic) High School Champions will get to perform on the Wednesday night at the Harmony Explosion 7 pm show. All other quartets will get to perform on the Dinner Show at 5 pm including the Adult quartets.
COST: $10/person. Payment by Check, Due by June 1. To Pius X High School,, attn. Todd Krier or drop in Choir Room deposit box with a clearly labeled Envelope. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: you can do one check for $60 if you are participating in HX Camp as well.
There will be SATB, SSAA and TTBB quartets. You are only allowed to be in one group this year. So choose wisely AND have fun!
We will have 1 coach with you, BUT KNOW, this is not where you learn the music. YOU SHOW UP ON JULY 14th WITH MUSIC LEARNED.
If you wanna sing with your friends, don't be afraid to switch parts. In most SSAA and TTBB quartets, singers can usually sing 2 parts if not 3.
BACK FOR 2024: There will be a High School Division and a Adult Division. So recruit your parents, friends and family who love to sing to be a part of this great day.
