Chemistry with Kate [SCI] Term 2, 2021
This class runs on Thursdays as part of the HASCA Hub programme.

When: Thursdays 10:00 am to 11:00 am, 8 weeks, 13th May to 1st July

Where: North Shore YMCA, 5 Akoranga Drive, Northcote (Rendle Room)

Who: Home educated students aged 9-14

In term two we will learn about changes of state, and density. The lessons will include a solid learning thread, with lots of hands-on activities, experiments, and fun.

The class is probably best suited to 10 to 13-year-olds, although 9-year-olds can attend if they are able to write (as we will be recording results, as all good scientists do) or if a parent comes along to help. 14-year-olds may still enjoy the class, depending on how much science they have already done.

Term Fees (8 weeks):
$64 per student (HASCA members)
$69 per student (non-members)

Fees are payable to Kate promptly at the end of the term, to allow Kate to charge an accurate amount depending on Covid-19 alert levels (meaning no refunds will be necessary if we have to cancel any weeks at Level 3-4).
Kate will advise bank details and your fees at the end of the term.

This class will be facilitated by Kate Dunn.

Other: Key Curricular Learning Area [SCI] Sciences
