N.B. You only need to fill out this waiver once for the whole academic year 2022/23.

Parkour is a physical discipline based around movement. All coached sessions will be run by a qualified parkour coach and their assistants.

It is the responsibility of the students to pay attention to what the coach says and to observe any safety procedures laid out. Every student is still responsible for their own behaviour while at class. If you feel an exercise is too challenging you should immediately inform the coach. Most injuries will occur because a student is not listening to a coach. It is important to pay attention to the coach at all times and to follow instructions carefully.

Parkour is a physical activity and therefore involves calculated risk. This risk will be minimised by ensuring you are trained adequately in the technical and physical skills required, at an appropriate pace.

I understand that I participate in the coached sessions at my own risk.

I understand that I must follow the coaches’ instruction at all times and that failure to do this may result in dismissal from the session and could also result in injury.

I will inform the coach at the beginning of the session about any injuries or medical conditions that may affect my training.

I understand that any practice of Parkour I take part in, with or without the supervision of a coach, is at my own risk.

I take sole responsibility for any belongings I bring to the sessions.
