What is a Green Job?
A job that builds and maintains landscaping that reduces flooding such as rain gardens, permeable paving, french drains, and more.
Program Fast Facts:
- Earn a stipend of $12/hour for up to 40 hours/week (paid weekly) during the 8-week program
- Landscapers who specialize in green infrastructure can earn a higher annual income than traditional landscapers
- Earn nationally endorsed certifications including OSHA 10 (Occupational Safety Health Administration), NCCER CORE (National Center for Construction Education and Research), and Clean Water Certificate Level 100.
- Job placement assistance available for program graduates
