As part of the Arkansas Computer Science and Computing Initiative founded under Governor Asa Hutchinson, the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) seeks additional Arkansas public universities to form a partnership with the ADE Office of Computer Science to provide postsecondary graduate credit for Arkansas residents completing a Computer Science and Computing Educator Academy. The Request for Proposal (RFP) packet, found at XXXXXXXX, seeks to assist in the identification of Arkansas public university partners.

This Intent to Submit form, while not required, alerts the ADE Office of Computer Science of an institution's intent to submit a response to the RFP. Contact email addresses submitted through this form will be added to mass communications regarding the RFP process.

Completed responses to the RFP must be submitted to BOTH anthony.owen@ade.arkansas.gov and CSforAR@ade.arkansas.gov 

Selected public university partners will be announced by January 28, 2022, and registration for participants will be announced and opened by February 28, 2022.

ADE may select and announce public university partners at any time during the submission process, based on the quality of applications. The submission window is scheduled to close on December 31, 2021; however, ADE reserves the right to close the submission window at any time. If ADE elects to close the submission window prior to December 31, 2021, notice will be sent to email addressed provided through this intent to submit form and over the ARKidsCanCode Listserve at least 14 calendar days prior to it closing.
