https://forms.gle/QuEWSjBRnNAx3nVw9KEY REQUIREMENTS: Since T&E actives returned in November 2020, we have been very accommodating with flexible policies to simply try and get education happening. However, several recent administrative failures have meant that our policies need to now revert to those pre-COVID. Primarily:
1) APPLICATIONS MUST BE FOR DATES AT LEAST 4 WEEKS OUT. Applications with a shorter timeframe than this leave us not enough time to confirm Educators, get the COVID-paperwork done that we need, and get people registered to make the course viable.
2) WE NEED MINIMUM NUMBERS REGISTERED AT LEAST 7 DAYS BEFORE THE COURSE. We need to start changing the cultural behavior around course registration to provide a more professional service to our rugby community. That begins with knowing a course is happening and communicating to those people better. This can't happen if we have people registering late or up to the last minute.
Please make sure you have read the appropriate host notes before submitting your application. Notes can be found here:
https://usa.rugby/host-a-course In particular, note that hosts are responsible for securing the venue, and any contract or fee for venue usage is an issue for the host organization. USA Rugby regularly holds over 200 courses and relies on local hosts as we do not have the resources to negotiate and contract with venues across the country centrally.
Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to working with your local organization to grow and develop rugby at all levels of the game.
