Volcano Taming - Infinite ore source, possible power generation

Automatic farming - Lowering the needs for constant manual intensive labor

Telescope and Rocket - Space age stuff, pushing towards an end game goal

Shovel Vole Ranch - Possibility of using them to build a reserve or ranch for meat.

Recreation room - Happier duplicants, possibly more productive

Arbor Tree Farm - More diversified power resources, food source for Pips.

Transit tube / Nature reserve - Shorter commute times, more work done, maybe higher morale.

Gas Range - Higher morale foods, will require more farming
